I forgot to put in this most important thread.
I'm not drunk now but probably will be a little tipsy sometime this weekend (I hope). And anyone who feels the need to rant or tell dirty jokes while under the influence, can go here.
It's like a drunk-snug.
Will I make it a sticky thread so it's easy to find in the dark?

I'm a leetle tipsee... Had friends for dinner drank fizzy wine (pretend champagne) then red wine and big dinner that I cooked (lamb stew-very nice). I even did all the washing up by myself, which proves I must be drunk. Nice evening and now I'm going to bed. Gnight!  |

My father-in-law and his girlfriend are visiting, so I'll be getting some drinking in this weekend. I don't usually have alcohol around the house, but FIL is an oenophile. Bottles galore. Yum. |

High school? It was college that did it for me. And spending a lot of my summers in France, which gave me a taste for good wine.

Like Daniel, I graduated in the late seventies, when many consciousnesses were altered. However, I grew up with two alcoholic parents and two alcoholic/addicted siblings. I think that kind of upbringing results in one of two paths: embracing it or rejecting it. I made a decision at age eleven, after a particularly bad experience to reject it. FOrty two years later, I've never seen a need to revisit that decision. However, since I worked in radio and hung out with a lot of bands in my youth, I enjoy other people letting loose a little bit. Thus: The Pub! |
