- The Back Room - for serious writing is where we maintain our own version of "Camp Nano." We create a new thread each month with new goals and reports of our progress. Feel free to join in at any time.
Also, note that the genre discussions and everything under "The Snug" are topics that are available to members only. Your posts in those sections are not viewable by the public. |

I write hard-ish SF and weird horror, but I'm thinking of branching out into genres that people actually read . I also have a few other pen names where I try more experimental stuff, but I haven't really used them in a while. |

Welcome, edwardmgrant and justanotherwriter . A forum's lifeblood are it's threads and posts. If you are looking for a particular topic or the answer to a question and you don't see it, feel free to start a thread of your own. We have no rules, unspoken or otherwise, for how long you need to be a member before you can contribute. The water's warm, so come on in. As for random discussions about Life, the Universe, and Everything, you'll find quite a bit of that in The Back Room. Each month, we start a new thread and share our writing goals, our progress, and often a retrospective. It's a kind of low-key accountability zone similar to Camp Nano. As life interferes with the aforementioned goals and progress, you'll learn a lot about what's going on with your fellow members, and we don't enforce any rules about "off topic" conversations in there. Commiseration is always welcome. |
