I enjoyed this post! I love finding out about how people write.
Then I went back and read Rosalind's post.
My jaw dropped when I saw her next series is going to be set in North Idaho.
I'm just saying...you just don't see many books set in this part of the world. Other than mine.
The setting of my books (Alpine Grove) is a thinly disguised version of where I live in northern Idaho (Sandpoint) sort of removed to some mythical place in California to make it closer to a decent sized city. (Because I'm sorry, but Spokane doesn't count.)

I don't envy you all that travel. I seriously dislike air travel these days. I never get much done while traveling. I can work on a laptop while in the airport, but I have long arms and big hands, so airplane seats are too ergonomically hostile for me to type comfortably while in flight.

I don't mind travelling. It's second nature by now. I can write anywhere, even in cramped conditions and I have learned to block out my surroundings and just get into the story.
