Ira Levin is one of my favorite writers (Boys from Brazil, A Kiss Before Dying, etc). He wasn't prolific. I believe he wrote less than 10 books in a 40 year career, but man could he write. I was excited to see Rosemary's Baby in my Book Bub mailer today. It's on sale for just $1.99! Just a heads up in case you're looking for a spooky read. amzn.com/B004W8NS5UThere is a TV mini-series for Rosemary's Baby that run last night. It prompted me to look for the book on Kindle. It was listed at $9.99. Smart of the publisher to run a sale while people are looking for the book because of the TV show. I didn't like the TV version, I lasted about 40 minutes and I was gone. The 1968 movie is awesome. Anyway, I just picked up the Kindle version of Rosemary's Baby, my Ira Levin Kindle collection is almost complete.

I've read all those books you mentioned but couldn't read them again- too scary

It's interesting to see my own actions as a reader with my publisher hat on. I was watching the TV mini-series last night, it made me think about the book. It's been years since I read it, so I looked it up on Amazon. I saw the $10 price tag, and I was like, I'll pass. I've already read it. I can always pick up a copy at the library. Then I see the Book Bub add for $1.99 and I bought it so fast my fingers could hardly keep up as I clicked on the buy button on Amazon. Now I have my publishing/marketing hat back on and I'm like wow, you're cheap.

It's now back to $9.99 and sitting at #6 best seller for the entire Kindle store. Impressive for a book published 48 years ago.
