This is another of those odd things I've been drawn to (and quite curious about) For those of you who haven't heard of it, E-Prime is a method of speaking/thinking that removes all forms of the verb 'to be'. It's challenging to get the hang of but something I've considered trying for a while. This inevitably leads to the question - has anyone tried writing a book using some kind of controlled language or playing a literary game? How about using acrostics or something of the sort? Those are so rare but delightful when you find them!! LOL attempto.ifi.uzh.ch/site/cnl2012/posters/cnltimeline-poster.pdfmentalfloss.com/article/26601/10-works-literature-were-really-hard-write

Wow, I have never heard of E-Prime or these other "controlled Englishes." I'm not familiar with that term at all. Fascinating!
