I know and antidote for trolls: SHOPPING! This afternoon, I went into the little town of Antibes and called in to my favourite shop. I bought a top/tunic in jersey of butter-soft silk in hues of blue and turquoise, just like the sea. This is the link to their website. Every item is handmade and a little work of art. Actually not expensive for what you get. Look and drool... www.souleiado.com/

I like that one, Suzy. But my hubs wouldn't be caught dead in it. He wears a T-shirt every day that has something about beer, women or rednecks on it. He's from West Virginia--but he does have all his teeth, and we're not blood related.
P.S. if you're from the U.S., you'll get that...,

My husband wouldn't wear it either. But he is very stylish in a simple, classic way. French men would, though. I think they're brave about showing their feminine side.

I don't know where to post this, but I have to share: I swam in the sea today! It's only April and the water was 15 degrees C, which is 59F... brrr Very, very proud of myself. I did it because there was a Norwegian woman at the beach who said it was too cold for her. So I had to show her that Swedes are braver than Norwegians, so I ran into the sea and did a couple of strokes and then raced out again. But of course SHE then had to do it too and stayed in longer (bitch) than I did and come out looking smug. My husband nearly died laughing at this contest.

Of course, he didn't even put his big toe into the water. Said something about 'brass monkeys' and being clever enough not to risk pneumonia just to show off...

Now I have to pipe down and go to bed. The stars are coming out in the navy-blue sky and up the hill, in the woods, where the old villas are, I can hear frogs croaking in the ponds up there. Wonderful sounds. I love frogs.
