The Smithsonian museums were great, the weather in DC just right. I couldn't get over the North/South contrast: the horns never stopped blowing all night long in downtown DC; you couldn't hear a horn in Charleston, SC.
Fred, I picked up a bottle of Jack at "Candyland Liquors" in Maryland. Love that name. It belongs in a book.
