Thank you! And my alter-ego (the little girl who shows her panties to cabbages, not the bull) thanks you, too. (I don't know where the bull has wandered off to...)

Nice going, Lindy. And I have to say that that is the firs time I've ever seen the same person's name repeated 5 times on 1 book cover.

Ha ha, shades of Quentin Tarantino!
(Written by Quentin Tarantino; Directed by Quentin Tarantino; Produced by Quentin Tarantino, Edited by Quentin Tarantino and starring... Quentin Tarantino!)
I feel like a one-woman band, listing all my instruments separately on a playbill. Holy crap. That's embarrassing, isn't it? But since I created the project, cajoled authors into joining (all were personal invites), did most of the editing (simple proofreading all the way up to developmental editing in some cases), all the formatting, and I'm doing all the illustrations and made two covers, all for not one penny -- a year of my life, for charity -- plus wrote a bunch of haiku... I guess I shouldn't be too embarrassed.
Nah; it's still embarrassing. Which one to trim, though? Formatting can go inside, I suppose. And I could pretend I didn't write most of the Haiku...
In my defense, I did give John top billing for editing, even though he didn't feel like he deserved any credit at all...(so modest)
There is nothing I can do to stop digging this hole deeper, lol!

Yeah, I'd shut up while I was ahead, if I were you. Anyway, you have nothing to be embarrassed about. As you say, you've had one hell of an input into the project and given up a lot of your time - you should get the credit for it. Rather a lot of credit, as it happens. (I'm teasing you, honest.) Well done, Lindy. I wish your antrollogy every success.

Thank you, but point well taken. I'll get rid of the "formatted by" stuff at the very least! John (L. Monk) had a charming suggestion: "It'd be funny if you added even more Lindy Moones: "Original concept", "Color Coordinator", "Paper Procurement by", "Width and Height Decision by", "Font Selection by", etc. etc." I'm gonna make him write it up and use it in the promotional material!

The post none of you have been waiting for! The Charity Trolls are Alive... and some of them are in love! Here's one April "Fool" for Love, now. It's the genre intro to the two romance stories, reminding us that "clubbing" might mean something slightly different to a troll! The majority of stories in the book are mysteries and suspense, but there are some very funny stories, too. Check and see if you can spot two of the Pub's members among the authors (not counting me).

First new post in quite some time. (I don't count reblogs, naturally.) Anyway, here it is: Indies With Undies

I hope it wasn't too mushy. She didn't like mushy. She liked hockey and Shark Week.

Oh no. That's so sad to hear. The photo is a classic, and your letter a great testimony to your sister. I don't think it was mushy.

As I said to you in private, I am so sorry for your loss. I also lost my darling sister to cancer. It's so hard.

That was beautiful, Lindy. I'm very sorry to hear about your sister. I have a younger brother and sister, and although I'm not as close to them as you must have been to Gretchen, I can't imagine what it would be like to lose either of them. Hugs.
