p.s. It's nice to see you over here Daniel. Ditto! I wasn't sure it was you, but then again, how many writers named Aithne do I know? Still just one, as it turns out. lol... yeah it's me. ~ Aithne

I love the Like button. It lets the poster know we are reading... And cuts down on unnecessary thread length by avoiding having to post something just to show support. That was one of the first things I saw when I joined and was like...whoo hoo! A freakin' like button!!
I also love The Snug!

Me too. It's one of the best features of the Pub, like a "members only" back room...exclusive and dark...with lots of black lights and fluorescent pastel posters. Hey, my gin & tonic is glowing green!

I think it's great and was surprised it wasn't added as part of the recent KB forum upgrade. I don't like the "karma points" or a "don't like" post, but just a nice "like" button like we have here is awesome. It's way of appreciating a post and saying thanks even if I don't have anything more to add to the conversation. I didn't like Karma Points either. That feature definitely seemed like a popularity contest, even though I don't think anyone treated it that way. I'm glad it disappeared with the ProBoards upgrade. And a thumbs down (dislike) button would not accomplish anything positive by definition. Agreed. Though I was tickled by the writer on KB who mentioned that her erotica forum allows you to bestow "strokes" and "spanks."

That's a whole different section of the snug, and requires safe words to get into it!

Yeah, Suzy!! Can we get a section for strokes and spanks? Everybody could use a little of either (or both)!

Once I get used to it I will. Right now I've only remembered a few times that there is a like button.
P.S. Does this mean someone should start a "Nobody likes me!" thread, too? lol

Would it be too obscure to call it 'The Worm-eaters Thread'?
