It maybe too much to comprehend. So we don't try. It's too big,too unbearable. We turn our minds away because of that. I think that's right. Too big, too unbearable, and too frequent. Yes it is. But I think we have to think small in order to help. By giving money. Every single dollar or two can make a difference to someone in those countries. If we give a little bit here and there, we can help. Not maybe all, not that many. But to a few and that counts too. Medicine, shelter, food and clean water. Those things don't cost that much in underdeveloped countries. So if we make a habit of giving a little bit, then someone out there might eat, or drink or be able to feed a baby.

I guess. The number of people suffering is daunting, and if you're one of those who sees upcoming crises in the areas of climate change (drought and flooding-->famine and mass displacement), antibiotic resistance, and other areas, the future may look pretty bleak. International charities do wonderful work, but Doctors Without Borders and Save the Children are not going to be able to cope with Bangladesh being under water.

No but think of the individuals. One little child saved, one mother being able to feed her baby. Every human being saved is worth it, even if you can only save a few,
