You can connect this forum to Facebook.
Would that be a good idea? I could put a Facebook button here if you'd like.

Not sure on the connecting thing ... would that just mean Writer's Pub was among my likes? Just realized one big bummer about the loss of the old posts: Daniel's directions for connecting a blog to a Fb page (vs. a profile) were in there, and I hadn't done that yet.

Well, we'll just have to ask him to do it again!

He might be persuaded if we beg and give him wine... My blog is on Wordpress and it already had that feature, connections to all social media.

Mine too, but I can only figure out how to connect it to my profile, not my page, and my profile is non-author me, not Becca. Well, I don't have any wine, but I have whine. Think that would work?

Yes, whine a little and we'll see.
I see your problem. I just connect it to my profile and then share it onto my author page. But if you don't want to connect those two then you'll have to figure out a way to get it on your author page. I could share it for you on my page and then you could pick it up from there as Becca Mills. Would that work?

But I think it would get to be too much trouble as the years go by. Let's just whine at Daniel to explain how to automate it. Here's me, squeezing out a whiiiiiiine ...

My favourite wine. I hope we can entice Daniel with it...

Um ... I was playing around with my blog, and I *think* I just got it to share directly to my author page (not my personal profile) without the addition of the Graffiti app. I just went into "Sharing" > "Publicize" in my settings, and connected my blog to my Fb. It appeared to be connecting to my profile and wanted access to my friends. It was at this stage I had always stopped before because I don't want to share my blog to my profile. But I pushed through. Then Wordpress wanted to post to my Fb. At first I said no, and the connection process failed. The act of posting seems to be required to connect. So I tried again and noticed that I could have the post be private -- visible to me only. So I did that. Once I did that, the connection was created, and I was giving a choice to share my blog posts to my profile or to one of the two pages I managed. I chose my Becca Mills page. Could it be as simple as that?? Daniel, what do you think? Did I just mess things up and "out" my author self to my profile friends?

Wow. It worked. What d'ya know. Looks like I need to disconnect the blog from Twitter, though. I'm getting double tweets of blog posts, now.

I don't have the options you mentioned in my WordPress admin, so I can't see for myself. It sounds like you are "pushing" content from WordPress rather than "pulling" content from Facebook. Either way should work. As long as the posts are only visible on your page, you should be good. Congratulations!

Feels like life on the drunk thread -- fumbling around in the dark until you find what you're looking for.
