Hello! Long time no post.
Does anyone use Draft 2 Digital to distribute to other retailers, please? If so, what have been your experiences, and would you recommend them?
Given that I'm in the UK and therefore cannot upload directly to B&N or Apple (I don't have a Mac) it's either D2D or Smashwords. Anyone got any comparisons, having used both?
Thanks.
PS Suzy - not sure where to post this after the great PB snarl up. Let me know if it's in the wrong place.

I use them for iTunes, lynda. It's been a great experience. They very responsive, and changes go through to iTunes rapidly. I never tried Smashwords for iTunes because I heard they were so slow.

I'm also with D2D for Apple only. I tried one non-fiction book with Smashwords long ago (before they accepted EPUB format), but did not care for their process or interface.

Thanks, Becca and the good Doctor!
I've got one (MG) book on Smashwords, but don't care for the site much and agree with both your observations. All my other books are Amazon only, most of them in the increasingly useless Select. As I'm about to publish the first in a new series, it's seems the right time to spread my wings a little.
Think I'll give D2D a go.
Thanks again.

The first in a new series? That's exciting! I wish you the best of luck with it.

The first in a new series? That's exciting! I wish you the best of luck with it. Me too! FYI, one of the most useful things to come out of KB in the last few months was TK Kenyon's thread on selling through Google Play. I put my book up there in November, and I've already had a lot more action on it there than on any of the other sites, where it's been up for more than a year: www.kboards.com/index.php/topic,167655.0.html

Thanks, Daniel. Much appreciated.
Becca - saw the thread but didn't read it. Tbh, I've had all my eggs in the Amazon basket because I'm lazy and it's easier that way. I'm also (gulp) 61 years old and, after a minor stroke 4 years ago, my health and memory are not what they were. I've been too scared to diversify for fear of losing track of things.
I'm going to put The Gemini Detectives series on D2D and see how things work out.
Thanks to you both for the info.

Keeping track of it all is really taxing, even without health worries as a facor. Too bad D2D has been shut out by Amazon. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to publish to ALL sites through just one?
