Susan reminded me of a resource that we plan to use and that might appeal to some of the other writers here at the Pub.
Last summer, I was contracted to do the ebook formatting for a non-fiction book titled The Business Blog Handbook by Kathryn Aragon. It was a challenging project, and while working on it, I often got sucked into the content. The book subtitle is "A step-by-step guide to running a business blog that drives traffic and accelerates growth," and it's no idle claim. Kathryn's tips are awesome.
The book is definitely geared toward running a professional business blog. Even though a lot of what Kathryn imparts is overkill for a small writer's blog, there's still a lot of universally useful information. The more successful you are, and the more important your blog becomes, the more relevant her content will be for you.
I highly recommend the book. Yes, I did the ebook formatting, but I don't get any kickback or commission for plugging it. You can see the TOC in the preview for yourself and decide if the content would be useful.
