Hey everyone,

Sorry I haven't stopped by in a while. Glad to see you're all still kicking it around. In truth, I just launched a book well and I'm stuck in sequel hell. Every day that passes, a reader forgets they enjoyed book 1, they forget my name, they forget Amazon even exists. Ok, maybe not that bad (but it feels that way, hehe). So yeah, I'm feeling very self-centered these days. But not just for me ... as odd as that sounds. My wife got sick about a week after the book launch and the money paid for it (or will, once the royalties come in. Thank you mom-in-law for the loan...). My wife is now fine, so please don't worry too much. So a little luck, or perhaps some help from "beyond"

I like the latter. More comforting.

I know what you mean about sequel hell. So much work involved in all of that. I hope you can find some helpful tips and comments here. We're all in the same boat, really.

I am so happy your wife is still doing okay. It was impressive, how you held it together and managed such an amazing launch while all that shit was hitting your fan. Knowing that the bills were coming in must have been extra incentive to work that launch. Anyway, success well deserved! Now get back to work on that sequel.

Don't worry. You know I will always be there to tell you what's wrong with it!
