This time, Amazon sent my followers an email without requesting my input. Has this happened to anyone else lately?

They still do it, they just don't always ask you if you want to personalize it anymore. I got one because I follow myself and it came about a week or so after the book went live. They never told me it was going out, though.

huh, interesting. Thanks for answering. I could see it went out from the sale spike, and from now on I will follow myself. Maybe they're A/B testing us, or I wasn't charming enough.  (heaven knows, I'm NOT charming enough. lol) |

Yes, sometimes just a notice a new book is out (I follow myself as well), sometimes I get an email asking if I want to write a brief message to my followers. Don't know if it's beta testing or what.  |
