I'm sure you guys are aware of it, but I stumbled upon Booklinker.net the other day, and it looks like it could be really useful, especially for my mailing list. In case you don't know, the idea is that you put an Amazon link in one end of the site, and it spits out a custom link at the other, like www.mybook.to/thebonehouse for example. The clever thing about the link is that it can tell where you are in the world, so if you're in the UK and click the link it'll take you to Amazon.co.uk, if you're in the US it'll take you to .com, etc, etc. You can punch in your affiliate codes for every Amazon site, too, and it'll include those in the links it sends people to. Anyone else used it? It seems a bit too good to be true.

I've been using it and it seems to work fine, but I kind of wish that Amazon had its own geolinker. I'm not a huge fan of link shortening, myself, because I like to see where I'm going when I click on a thing. It's really nice, though, to have a url I can type in easily without having to go back and copy the ASIN etc.
