I've been working on my own little project all this year, inspired by one illustration I did back in January. It's turned into a mix of biography, nature, history, art, fantasy and humour, aimed primarily at 8-12 year olds, but apparently found pretty good by adults, too. I've published it through IngramSpark and it's only available in print, but it is just about everywhere, and if it's not there, it can be ordered. I've even seen it available on a site in Dubai! The easiest link, though, still seems to be good old Amazon . Blurb: What happens when you combine a love of art, animals and history with a sense of humour? You get a book that is delightfully different. Famous Animals is an alternative history, an artistic peek at the world of such remarkable animals as Felix Mendelswann, Joan Aardvark and Luciano Pavaratti. At the same time, it takes a biographical look at some equally noteworthy humans. A book that will appeal to young and old alike.

Must buy ... if just for Luciano Pavaratti. He's right at the end, Becca. Hope you enjoy the rest as well!

Must buy ... if just for Luciano Pavaratti. It's well worth it, Becca Mills. Katie's drawings are beautiful, the detail in them exquisite. She excels at fur and feathers - as the Bishop said of the actress!
