This may be common knowledge, but in Chrome you can do STT into a Google Doc. I did it for a couple of paragraphs to see if it worked and it did pretty well. This would be an alternative to that Dragon thing (which I've never tried, so I can't compare them).
Open the Google Doc>Tools>Voice Typing>Click the microphone. I have a Chromebook and apparently I have a microphone on it.

Huh. Good to know, but I'm still leery of this whole dictation craze. I like my silence when I write.
