Way to go! Julie's doing a nice job with that. She was shrewd to jump on it. I kinda wish some more of the big time names who were her friends on the boards would give that thing a little love. Not naming any names.

Thanks everyone! This was my first exposure to this type of thing, so it was nice to see She's Gone move up to the "next round" stages.  Julie does put a lot of work running this, so hopefully it continues to grow in popularity. I like that she runs this very ethically (not too surprising with her), no "entry fees", and she's a hawk to make sure that authors don't abuse the award process. I didn't even know my book was nominated until a friend emailed me about it, so it's been fun. |
