Greetings from The Voice of Doom! You probably know all about these two good reasons to stay indoors and write faster: Arctic lampreys falling from the sky, and Super Volcano gets Supersized. I mean, people, we already knew that when it blows, civilization as we know it will end. Now they say the new magma chamber they've found could fill the Grand Canyon 11 times! So what the world needs now is more Paranormal Romance! Chick Lit! YAAAAAAAAAA !!!! The Voice of Doom wants more bad news, more reasons to write faster. Whaddya got? |

Eagles grab the lamprey out of lakes, and when the thing bites into them, they let them go. Not a new phenomenon. Eagles are bad asses, but lampreys are nasty fuckers.
I'm gonna stay inside because the Oklahoma heat seems to have finally arrived.

As in American (or English, or Irish) career woman travels to small European country and accidentally falls over prince Ludwig Arthur Maximilian Schlossentrash (or some such name), who is of course drop-dead gorgeous but spoiled and nasty.

There's so much wrong with that CNN screenshot. Where to start? Apparently I grew up in Pennsylvania. And the escaped convicts could be literally anywhere? Mars? The surface of the sun? Dancing on the head of a pin? (At least that was a quote, though.)
I would literally prefer it if every time someone wants to use "literally" they'd just use "fucking", instead.
