I’m very pleased to announce that Prologue to Chaos, the re-titled third edition of the Introduction to the Sanctum of the Archmage Saga, is now available from the Amazon Kindle store. The third edition features a new title as well as a new cover, and a full stylistic re-edit. As a release promotion it will be available for free on Sunday, May 17th, as well as on it's regular "Free on the First" promotion date on the first of every month. Many thanks again to everyone here who helped me with advice on the cover re-design!

Prologue to Chaos Available at The Sanctum Blog

The land of Carlissa stood on the cusp of a renaissance. But even as King Danor planned reforms to usher in a new era of enlightenment, other forces were threatening to lead the kingdom toward a very different future. That future began to take shape in a fateful confrontation that occurred in a Prologue to Chaos.

Prologue to Chaos is a short work that introduces the world and story for an upcoming epic fantasy series. It will be continued in Dawn of Chaos, the first full-length novel in the Sanctum of the Archmage Saga.



Now that the Prologue re-release is done, I'm back to continuing work on Dawn of Chaos -- which, at seventy eight thousand words, is about three fourths complete.

I've been away from the board for a while, diligently plugging away at my writing. I'm very pleased to be able to announce, though, that as of this weekend, I've finished a complete, copy-edited draft of my first full-length novel, Dawn of Chaos. The sequel to Prologue to Chaos, it ended up at twenty-six chapters and just shy of 144,000 words.

I have a series of polishing edits to do, along with the logistics of finalizing the illustrations, figuring out how to promote it, and preparing it for publication. I'm hoping that won't take me more than another few months and that I'll be able to release it sometime this summer, probably in August.

Good job, Tony! A thousand gross of words is a tough challenge. My third novel was 120K, and it was much harder to produce than the 75K and 99K volumes that preceded it.

The penultimate final draft of my first novel, and of the cover, are finally ready! After my illustrator does a final clean-up pass on the cover, and I finish a final proof-reading pass of the manuscript, it'll be ready to go on Amazon. If all goes according to plan it should be available sometime in March.
