Zero bounce -- so that myth's been debunked If it was ever bunked to begin with, hehe. I did approach Bookbub with a comment in that field they let you put comments in, saying, "I'm now a quarter finalist, maybe you could use that as a hook". I'll let you know if I get in this time. They denied me last time. |

Congratulations, John. Good reviews you got there. Don't you wish they'd have put the whole review up? I really wanted to read some by the people on the threads who are thrashing around about how the reviewers just didn't get it! Ah well. I'd also love to know why everyone seems to be scrambling to get reviews on their excerpts. Do you happen to know if that has any weight later in the competition? I guess I'd send people to mine if I thought it mattered.

Ok, it's official, getting to the Q-finals of ABNA does NOT mean Bookbub wants what you're laying down Denied! I know, they may be all full, which is all good. I'm sure every indie who made it to ABNA started spamming them for promotion. I'll wait a few months and try again...unless I win 50k and buy and island with the money or whatever. |
