Of course, my favorite is the little marsupial that fucks himself to death. That's just too awesome for words. Sigh. I already knew about that species, which took some of the fun out of it. But the cave fish with its anus on its head? That was 100% new to me.  I also really like the monkey with grumpy cat on its butt. And the shoebill. |

Perhaps I just have an odd sense of fun but I've enjoyed looking through here! www.flickr.com/photos/bergen_public_library/sets/72157633827993925/A collection of old end pages. I always looked forward to getting books that used them just to see which pattern was chosen ^_^ Finding new designs was always a treat and I was sorely disappointed when they fell out of favor. |
