The apparent apathy about this thing is what astonishes me. My mom and step-father plan to attend a family Thanksgiving this year. Both are in their 70s. They invited us, but no way that's happening. People are engaging with others everywhere without wearing masks. Even now, mask compliance in the grocery store is maybe 70%.

Meanwhile, they are hoarding toilet paper again. It's some kind of cognitive dissonance.

Agreed. We don't have enough family left to do a big Thanksgiving.
