Read the dictionary. Like I said before, the plot's a little thin but the chapters are short. You also don't have to go to a dictionary to look anything up. Seriously, though, I go through the dictionary looking for unfamiliar verbs, process or relationship words, and downright unusual stuff. If you do that, it's not like work or some kind of act of contrition. I *think* I still have the paper dictionary I got in fourth grade ... I've gone through the better part of two dictionaries (it doesn't take that long), and I was surpised at how much could be skipped because it's technical vocabulary from medicine--i.e., the names of diseases, body parts, etc. It's weird when you think about it. No other discipline gets that much space in dictionaries. Even the more general areas of expertise like logic and rhetoric don't get the same attention as medicine.
