It's pretty, but my poor brain can't make sense of what I'm seeing. She seems to be sitting on the edge of a boardwalk or something, but what is the blue that's next to her versus the ocean on the horizon?

Great looking cover. It nails the mood/genre. The heart shape cloud is a nice touch.

Thanks, Alan. The heart shaped cloud is also on the cover of the first book in the series. I wanted it to be like a little trademark

Infinity pools are awesome. It's just a pool built to look it's going to flow into the ocean. Or the jungle. When I was in Bali the hotel was built in the mountains so the pool looked like it flowed right into the jungle. It's an optical illusion thing. So I don't believe she's sitting in a dock but on the edge of an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, so the pool looks like it continues on into the ocean. |
