When I applied for teaching for next year, I asked for a PART-TIME appointment. BECCA!!!! That is so brave! And so great!

If I can go down to teaching one course per semester (instead of two or three), I should have much more time for my writing. But of course I'll still have an excuse for poor production, should I need it. Sounds perfect.

Yay! I hope you get the part-time.

Congratulations! That's a big step.
It's cool that your job has that option. When I quit the last full time job I had, they convinced me to stay on as a contractor for two or three days a week, which kept me in paychecks for another year or so. I loved it!

That's great news. Especially for those of us patiently awaiting the next book in your Nolander series.

Awwww ... you guys rock. Thank you for all the support! In truth, I could get anything from full-time work (if they decide they don't want part-timers) to no work at all next year. Such is the life of a contingent employee. But fingers crossed I get the Goldilocks amount.

Just the thought makes me pee myself a little. Are you sure that's not just age?

Awesome! And you can still use them as your production patsy. Well played!
