I was just on the NaNo site the other day looking up my coupon for CreateSpace. (A free copy of my book for meeee!) I just logged into the Camp Nano site, since I guess it uses the same log in. Does it start in April? I'm totally sucking on word counts on my current book, so yeah, I'm up for it  (I don't know if you need it, but my username is sdaffron on the Nano site.) |

Awesome. That would be fun. You will need to log into camp and create a project and then I can invite you to my cabin or maybe you can ask to be in mine, I've never tried it that way. My name on there is LaurelQueen.

So what is Camp Nanowrimo? (I know what Nanowrimo is) I actually found it randomly online and signed up but I have no idea what the "camp" is.
I was interested in what little I found about it. Can anyone explain what it does? Does it cost anything?

Rinelle Grey, send me your camp name once you have your project set up and I'll add you to the cabin! @arshness, No it doesn't cost anything and it is a more relaxed version of NaNoWriMo. You don't have to complete a novel from starting at 0, you can set your own word count goal and even do editing instead of first draft. It's a perfect place to complete a work in progress. All you have to do is sign up, put in some basic info about what you plan to work on and get assigned to a cabin (or start your own). Camps run in April and July.

I'm DRMarvello (big surprise). I wasn't sure what to do with cabin preferences (none of them applied), so I didn't do anything with that page. Hopefully, I'll get the invitation anyway.
